The Carnelian

Saint Hildegarde says of this beautiful orange-coloured stone that it “holds more hot air than cold air; it is found in the sand”. (Physica ch XXIII)

Saint Hildegarde mainly recommends carnelian wine. Doughnuts and polished stones are therefore particularly suitable, but a pendant can also be used, but not to be dipped entirely into the wine.
